I vaguely recall the events preceding being informed that I was chosen as a recipient to the Canadian exchange programme. It was a long day and as I passed in the hall I heard students whispering about someone recieving a scholarship. I was like whoever that is, I am happy for them but I had too much going on within myself to even care to ask whom the student was. I was exhausted and suffering the ill effects of an accident with my four year old daughter only a few days before. Thankfully, none but the car suffered any serious damage though my back does tend to plague me every now and then.
I had just sat down in my 8p.m. class on a Tuesday night when a familiar face walked into the room. I was so caught up in myself it never even occured to me what he might actually be there for. I had previously receieved an email but due to circumstances beyond my control could not meet him earlier during the day. It was my understanding that he had already left. It was only after my peers were congratulating me and asking me what I would do with my daughter that it even dawned on me what everyone was telling me, or what Mr. Russell was there for.
SPEECHLESS!!!
That was my initial reaction and for the duration of the class. Hats off to Mr. Russell for achieving what Mrs. Rutherford may have needed the entire semester!!!
This is just a sprinkling of God working his miracle in his own mysterious way.
